GETTING THERE......Well having to miss out on competing in the ISA World Masters in El Salvador at the end of October basically through lack of funding, I am determined to attend next years event. With this in mind I am aiming to secure the help of a major sponsor to enable me to compete wherever the next ISA World Masters event is held. This is the reason for this promotional website. TO POP OR NOT...... Well it all started with a meet up with Al Stokes. After a frantic chase to catch our neighbours two runaway pups,safely now tied up in garden conversation got around to boards. Al brings out his quiver of Quivers, one being a 5' 3" Stokopop. Looked real short but Al insisted i should try it out so i took up the challenge. Surf was non existing but wow the board flew,how would it perform in some real waves came into my head.Next day a swell if you could call it that rolled in at 2ft onshore wind chop...but wait for it ... this board did everything from popping fins out on the backhand attack,snapping right in the pocket forehand and even a hand rail grab air to finish.....I was stokopopped. Next day Seabase had one more stokopop board to go through which I'm patiently awaiting the outcome....Well here it is and allready broken in on a cross shore north westerley 1ft high tide slop....I like big time!......CHEERS AL AND ALL THE BOYS AT SEABASE LUKE YOUV'E DONE IT AGAIN...Alan Stokeswebsite.

BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010......
Not to good a show at the British for me,reaching semi finals of the masters was not to bad but a shocker in the Legends final where conditions and waves just didn't come my way in the final...roll on 2011!
SPIKES MEMORIAL COMP 2010......
 Stoked to reach the final and to take second place to Richy Sills. A well fought five man final in pretty good waves lead to a thrilling end to this years Spike memorial comp...
NEW BOARDS ON THE HORIZON.. Love the the short shortboards Luke is a shaping talking about the next stage for me to progress on..maybe a 5' 8" combo thing we will see!
AUTUMNAL weather moving in so will pop round to SNUGG WETSUITS to get measured up for me 4.3 winter suit mmmn toasty for Jan Feb and March!

ANKLE INJURY FORCE'S JED OUT OF THE WATER...... All okay now had the summer full on usage and no illl effects ...worked out it is the same ankle I bust while skaetboarding back in 78'...

 9 YEARS ON as an international Soul Surfers Club and its all down to you, our fabulous Members, Friends and Guests and we can't thank you enough.When we started back in 2002 we could have never envisaged how rapidly the club and website would grow, let alone that it would become international and to such a large extent.
We set out to promote a Surfing community that would encourage each other inspire each other and help each other regardless of the craft they surfed or any other factor, a community that would share the fun not only with other club members but with all we met along the way, promoting old school surfing and sharing waves. And in so many ways we've done just that and also encouraged the fun back into surfing, wherever we go, so why not make a stand in 2011 by joining us and helping to spread the Soul.
